After a project is mixed down to two tracks (or to a DAT), we take it over to our mastering desk and master it there with our SADiE Disk Editor and Master Pack instead of shipping the project to Nashville or New York. When you have your project Mastered, it brings it up to par with everyone else.
Tasks, such as pre-gapping, leveling, fading in and out, noise reduction, equalization, compression, limiting and other signal restoration and enhancement processes can be applied as part of the mastering stage. Individual songs can be seamlessly edited to alter verse placement within the song. At this point your songs can be put in any order you choose. Additionally, start and end of track, and indexes are defined for disc navigation, getting the songs just the way you want.
Mastering summed up means putting the polish on your project and prepares for replication factory requirements or record label security concerns. Giving your project that extra "umph."
So call today - schedule your sessions and take your projects to the level that only a very few studios can provide.
